BEC Higher

The Business English Certificate (BEC) Higher certifies that candidates are on the same level as those taking the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), however with emphasis on Business English. Candidates are able to use the language in their professional environments in a practised, focussed and adequate manner.


Format of the exam

• Reading (1 hour)
• Writitng (1 hour 10 minutes)
• Listening (40 minutes)
• Speaking (16 minutes)
